The EDO Artisan Zero Retention Force Arming Unit provides a very high load capacity with positive lanyard retention for armed release and zero retention force for safe lanyard release.  It is mechanically coupled to the rack hook linkage system for positive operation.  Meets MIL-S-4040, MIL-STD-704, MIL-STD-810C, and MIL-T-7743E.
